Mrs. Zandra-Levy Reid
LCSW, Msw, JRPT
Mrs. Zandra-Levy Reid is a licensed clinical social worker and play therapist with over 16 years of experience in the field. She offers her services privately to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
She has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings both locally and internationally. Some of these include the Urban League of Broward County where she facilitated programs on the importance of youth abstinence and youths investing in their future. She was the assistant director and child counselor at The Family Life Centre in Jamaica where she conducted children and family therapy, individual therapy and started group counseling sessions for adults who suffered from depression and sexual abuse. She has also been a part of programs at Joy Town Community Development and SOS Children’s Village of Jamaica. She was trained as one of Jamaica’s first registered local play therapist and designed SOS’ very own therapeutic playroom.
Mrs. Levy Reid is a passionate supporter of self care, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution based therapy. Mrs. Levy Reid specializes in play therapy for both adults and children, incorporating fun, creative activities into the healing process. These include art activities, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), goal setting, and support for challenges such as depression, sexual abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, ADHD, and more.
As both a wife and mother, she has witnessed firsthand the remarkable resilience within each person. Her personal journey has shown her that healing opens doors to hope, and through this healing, we can discover our unique and fulfilling purpose in life. This deep conviction stems from her own transformative experiences, reinforcing her belief in everyone’s capacity for meaningful growth and renewal.
